💄👋🏼WELCOME TO JESS ON THE BEATS!👋🏼💄 I'm Jess, also known as Jessonthebeats on Instagram. I was born in Berkeley, CA, but grew up in East Oakland. My passion for makeup comes from my mom's own love for cosmetics. Although I initially planned to become a social worker, my mom's enthusiasm for eyeshadow and lipstick led me into the beauty industry. I started doing makeup almost nine years ago, having picked up my first brush at the age of five, despite not knowing what it was for. In 2016, I began promoting makeup brands like The Crayon Case, Anastasia, Morphe, and NYX. A highlight of my career was discovering the joy of creating my own lipstick and eyeshadow, which I experimented with and gave away as gifts. By 2018, my work was showcased at The RAWartist and Trap Art Show in the DMV area, where I had the chance to collaborate with talented models and photographers. These collaborations led to features in several magazines, including Key, NWA, Issue, Iconish, Vigour, Moevir, and Elle. In January 2022, I graduated from Esthetics School in and found a new passion in bridal makeup, leading me to become a freelance Bridal MUA with NVS Bridal. This role allowed me to showcase my work at NYFW in February 2023, September 2024 collaborating with top designers like Ranhawa Brands, Richie Rich, Dur Doux, Ronald Van Der Kemp and Rania Younis. And collaborating with vegan cosmetics La Beaute Fatale. In September 2023, I expanded my services by becoming certified in lash extensions through a three-day Master Lash course. Now, I offer both lash extension and bridal makeup services.Business Hours

Any cancellations within 24 hours of a booked appointment can be rebooked on the site.
LATE FEE: $15 will be paid upon arrival.
NO SHOWS/NO CALLS/SAME-DAY CANCELLATION FEE: The card that was provided upon booking will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
